Baseball Instructor

 

Joe attended Clarkson University where he was the starting shortstop and served as the backup catcher. Joe was the fielding and hitting coach for the Laconia High School baseball team from 1997-1999. Joe is currently the Manager of the Laconia Post 1 American Legion Baseball Team. Joe is also the 2008 U12 Concord Cannons Head Coach and Concord Sports Center lead baseball instructor. Joe is available for private instruction in hitting, fielding and pitching.

2003-Present

Wilkins-Smith Post 1 American Legion Baseball

Head Coach

  • Director of all aspects of Baseball program. Both on-field and off.

  • Direct 3 assistant coaches and 18 players.

  • Oversee Field maintenance.

  • Implement all fundraising activities.

  • 2007 team finished 3rd in State Tourney with 22-10 record.

  • 14 former players have played or are currently playing in College.

2000-2002

Assistant Head Coach

  • Assisted in practice and game-day preparations and on-field decisions.

Laconia High School

Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach

  • Concentration on Infielders and offense!

Playing Experience:

Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY

  • Starting Shortstop and backup Catcher

  • Led team in runs scored, stolen bases, and fielding percentage.

Wilkins-Smith Post 1 American Legion Baseball

  • Starting Middle Infielder

  • Teams qualified for state tourney.

1986-1989

Laconia High School

  • Starting middle infielder, Sophomore, Junior and Senior seasons.
