    Bow Cal Ripken Workouts at Concord Sports Center

    Concord Sports Center Instructors will be offering Bow Cal Ripken workouts at Concord Sports Center this March. These workouts will focus on preparing the player's for their upcoming seasons. Preregistration is required and the cost is $10 per session. These workouts will be capped at 12 player's per session.

    About the coaches: 

    David Drouin 

    David Drouin is a 2013 graduate of Merrimack Valley High School in Penacook N.H. Played 6 years for the Concord Cannons. After HS, Drouin declined a professional contract from the Tampa Bay Rays to continue his baseball career at the University of Hartford on a full scholarship. Drouin led his team to becoming the winningest class in Hartford history. David had the opportunity to play alongside first rounder Sean Newcomb (Braves) and numerous other draft picks. He also played in the historic Cape Cod Baseball League during the summer of 2016 while also playing in leagues such as the FCBL and NECBL in previous years. 

    Bryan Caruso

    Bryan Caruso founded the Concord Cannons in 2006 and has been coaching teams each season since. Coach Caruso played collegiate baseball at Endicott College where he was inducted into the Colleges Hall of Fame in 2012. Coach Caruso was the first player from Endicott to sign a professional contract. Coach Caruso has coached at every level of the Cannons program from ages 10U-18U. He's also been the Head Coach for 7 years at the HS level at Bishop Brady HS and New Hampton School winning two championships while at New Hampton. Coach Caruso also was the Head Coach of Concord Post 21 for three seasons including 2012's state championship team. Coach Caruso has coached several Major League Baseball Draft picks and collegiate players.
