Skills Clinic

Monthly Clinics

Keep your skills sharp with our monthly clinics. Though not always easy, baseball & softball are simple games. The key to experiencing success is to be good at the simple things, and you can never work on them enough. In these clinics, the main aspects of playing and the fundamentals of each will be covered, giving baseball & softball players the opportunity to consistently hone their skills throughout the fall and winter.

Skills Clinics

Throwing & catching, fielding, pitching, hitting, and base running. Five things that, when confident doing them, will help any ball player stay on the field. Receive lots of reps in all five aspects over the course of a month in our monthly skills clinic! This clinic is for baseball players of ages 8-14.

$120

Four sessions lasting an hour each, and each will be held on Saturdays of every other month. The structure of each session will be as follows:

5 minutes: warm-up

Quick, high intensity warm-up to get the body loose for the session.

15 minutes: throwing & catching

The most important part of the game and yet often the most overlooked. We will discuss and drill the proper mechanics and mindset to establish confidence in throwing & catching.

30 minutes: fielding/hitting/pitching

30 minutes will be dedicated to one of these three topics each week. Receive both fundamental and advanced instruction on how to be an efficient fielder, a more confident hitter, and a pitcher who throws strikes.

10 minutes: base running

Each session will conclude with the discussion and practice of a base running topic: for example, sprinting out of the batter’s box, primary & secondary leads, and having a quick first step on a steal.
