My name is Chirstian Metz and I have a vast experience and knowledge of coaching; I have coached athletes of all ages from youth to players that have played college Baseball at the Division I, II and III Levels.
As a baseball coach I have over twelve years of coaching experience. In 2005 my coaching career started as a youth and high school coach in Pickerington, Ohio. While coaching for area high schools and baseball clubs I found my passion and love for coaching. In 2012 I relocated to the East Coast where I had the opportunity to coach at the high school level for Person High School in Roxboro North Carolina, Stafford High School in Stafford, Virginia TC Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia and Herndon High School in Herndon, Virginia.
Along with coaching high school I have also been apart of many elite baseball programs as a head coach, running camps and clinics and private instruction. Teams and programs I have been a part of are: Roxboro Post 138, Alexandria Aces Cal Ripken Jr. Collegiate League,Northern Virginia All State Team and MVP international.
In 2005 I ended my collegiate career playing Division II at The University of Findlay where I was a outfielder and then asked to attend a professional baseball tryout for the Cleveland Indians. Currently I am working on earning my Masters in Coaching from Ohio University.
As a coach I strive to create a fun and enthusiastic learning environment. It is my philosophy to ensure that all players have a solid fundamental skill set and then build on their technical skills. I tailor all instruction to the individuals needs and abilities.
